Improved truck gas mileage through GPS? How?

That was what I was wondering too until I read the full news article. Read it yourself and see if it gives you any idea of improving gas mileage too.

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Water Gas and Light officials are installing G.P.S. tracking devices on their equipment, to make sure employees are conserving as much fuel as possible.

The G.P.S. devices record not only the location, but the speed W.G.L. trucks and equipment are driven, and when they are idling. Officials say W.G.and L. saved more than five thousand gallons of diesel fuel last fiscal year through energy saving rules.

Genepax Unveiled Water Powered Car

I got to admit: As cool as that jet water car is, you won’t catch me driving it around anytime soon. Not to work. Not to shopping mall. Not to anywhere!

Sorry. It’s just not my idea of a water powered car for daily use

On the other hand, this Japanese make looks more like my type.

According to the news, Genepax is the Japanese venture company that unveiled the prototype car that runs on water. It’s an electric powered car that runs solely on hydrogen dioxide. All it needs is a liter of water. Doesn’t matter what kind. River, rain, sea water, or even Japanese tea is just as fine.
